I would like to enable/disable the following post settings on certain posts:
SHOW NEXT AND PREVIOUS POSTS
SHOW AUTHOR BOX
As well as adjust related article settings or more articles settings.
Example is here:
Would like to hide author box and next previous from all within “events” category as well as code for within select individual posts.
Additionally, would like to be able to hide the “Share” components.
Hello modaestrat,
If you want to hide the “SHARE” title and the author box you should use a bit of CSS code to do that. Try the code below and place it in Theme panel -> Custom CSS area.
The code is ->
.td-post-share-title, .author-box-wrap{
display:none;
}
Hope this helps!
If is not what you mean, provide more details so I will be able to provide am roe accurate response.
Thanks for the message!
I am attempting the following:
1. Hide the author box on only certain posts
2. Hide the “Next / Previous Articles” on certain posts.
3. Hide the “Related Articles” area on certain posts.
4. Hide the “Share” bar on certain posts.
5. Also, I’d like to adjust whether “Related Articles” section shows similar tags, authors or categories on certain posts.
You have answered #2 and #4.
Hello modaestrat,
1,3)Using the post ID for your desired post, you can hide the related articles and author box for this post. Try the code below and place it in Theme panel->Custom CSS area.
The code is ->
.postid-380 .author-box-wrap, .td_block_related_posts {
display:none;
}
The result is here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/tnSmf1IwoG
5)Notice that the category tags for Related Articles should have to be enabled from Theme panel->Block Settings ->Category Tag on Modules/Blocks, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/NsO1MhdZsTc Then if you want to display the meta info container (author, date, and comments counter) you should make some changes in order to achieve this, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/pLXvabdP1tA and then use a bit of CSS code to adjust these details, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/zjHZlHbsOjo6
The code is ->
.td_module_related_posts .td-module-title{
margin-bottom:2px;
}
If the future, if you want to make your design, you will have to consult our useful guide here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/ because there you will find the method by which you can create your custom code yourself.
Hope this helps!
