Annoying Tab in categories

Hi,
I have an annoying Tab called “Latest” with a drop down menu on the top of the sidebar on all catagories pages but not on the home page. I do not know how it got there and I do not know how to get rid of it. Can anyone help please?
I would also like to get rid of Blog roll and categoroies in the footer but I cannot seem to find them either.
Any help greatfully appreciated.

Just an update to my last post. All the changes I make seem to happen to the category pages but the home page does not change. For some reason nothing on the home page will change. I worked out how to change the footer and it changes on the category pages but the home page footer is still the same.

Another update.
I have worked out the footer issues myself.
I am still stuck with the Latest Post widget at the top of the side bar.
It appears on all pages except the home page.
I can’t find the widget anywhere enable or disabled on the widget page.

Hi,

The sidebar content can be edited in the widgets section – https://www.screencast.com/t/SZ96Z76gXR
There you can see all your sidebars and make modifications to them. The footer sections can also be edited there. If the respective widget is in the sidebar, please check your sidebars and see if it is there. If you can not find this widget in any of your sidebars, maybe it is added by a plugin or some custom code. Please check if this is the case. If you could provide a link to your website, we will inspect it and see this problem.

Thanks for your reply. I have been playing around with the site waiting for a response.
I have now worked out it is not in the side bar. It is on the right hand side under the menu and above the side bar. I cannot find it in the widget area. That is the mistery. If you look at the home page by clicking on the logo you will see the “latest” tab is not there. It is on all the other category pages. The other mystery is why the category pages are laid out differently. The home page is set out perfectly as I have set out on global category settings. The other categories are all different and they are all set to default per category setting. So why are they all different?

Just another update. The category pages have come back into line.
It seems some pages take a long time to update after making changes which is a bit frustrating if you want to make a change to have a look.

Anyway it is just the “latest” tab on the category page that is the problem.
It appears on all category pages and not the home page.
