I have date and weather on the top of my webpage. The date currently is 5th may 2008. I want it to be written in Slovenian language as rest of the page.

The top menu date uses this function to display the date:

You can change the function to this one:
<?php echo date_i18n( get_option( 'date_format' ), strtotime( '11/15-1976' ) ); ?>
Now your date will be the same one found in the wordpress settings: https://www.screencast.com/t/m8Y2MNQAPmR
