Need shortcode in the description of the categories, but they dont get rendered. Which shortcode plugin works with youre Newspaper Theme? What i have to do to make it work? Adding add_filter( ‘category_description’, ‘do_shortcode’ ); to the functions.php has no effect.

Hello,
Sorry but we have not tested any shortcode plugins so i cannot provide any recommendation. The category description was never meant to display other content than plain text. Our theme does not offer this functionality.
