I recently updated the theme and was wondering how I can prevent the video from showing up as featured image. I would still like to use the video post format to grab the video thumbnails. I have thousands of articles and can’t swith them all back to normal post format, that takes too much work. Where in the code can I disable the video as featured image and show normal thumbnail instead?
Edit: On previous version of theme I edited code so normal feautured image shows up on post formats but can’t figure out how to do it in this version.

We answer from oldest to newest and each reply you make will only slow down the reply. Edits also count. For a fast reply, it’s recommended to only make on comment and leave it like so as an edit or another comment will make the post fresher.
We answer all messages so you do not need to worry about not getting a response.
Unfortunately if your posts all have video thumbs as a featured image, then the featured image is already set and that cannot be changed except going in manually on each post to select another one.
