Hi,

You can use this tutorial to configure the social counter plugin

Updates for this plugin are provided along theme updates. You need to configure the counter, then clear any caching installed, and also make sure that your profile pages are public.
If you have problems with the counter please provide more details about this, and the steps you are taking to configure it. Also provide a link to your website so we can inspect the problem.
