We have a facebook like button on the bottom of all our articles, but even though the articles have likes on the facebook it still shows zero likes.

This has likes on facebook and even I have liked it yet it still sayd zero likes. Please check image below.

I guess that you do not exactly understand what is the main functionality of this button. Please keep in mind that button will counter only the Likes which are made on your website and it will not counter your Facebook Like, do you know?

It prompted them to login to facebook, once they have logged in and they click the like button on the articles itself but it doesn’t allow them to like it. Still says zero like. Please we need this sorted out.

Do you see 0 Likes on your side? Try to clear all your caches, use only tested plugins and check the results.

Hello, Catalin, the facebook likes of Posts do seem to have some issues. My posts (I am NOT talking of page likes) used show to 100s and some posts thousands of likes but they are becoming 0 for some reason.. I just cannot figure out what’s going on.. whether the issue is with fb or with the theme.. what I can see is many many posts have lost all their fb likes and turned to 0. Would appreciate your input. I suspect there may be fb linking issue with the social counter plugin. Meanwhile will try disabling other plugins but they were there before also..unless one of the upgrades messed it up. Let me know if you already have an answer. I am using Newpaper 8.1 with latest plugins and wordpress. Thanks.

Please notice that our Facebook Like functionality is working well, without any problems and notice that we have not received any bad reports in this case until now, sorry! Please notice that the Facebook Like does not count the Likes which were received on the Facebook for your post shared here. Notice that only the likes that were placed on the site will be counted.
