I am using wp’s recent comments plugin. Whenever I click the link to view a posted comment, rather the taking me to the actual comment, the browser opens a view just below it, ie i need to scroll up to be able to read it. Please tell me how to fix this.

we have not tested the theme with this plugin, you cannot expect to test will all of theme there are millions.
our theme comes with a comment feature , is not ok?

Radu, I do use the comment feature that comes with the theme, but I need a widget that shows a list of latest comments on my front page and I believe Newspaper hasn’t got a widget like that?
And speaking of WP’s recent comments widget, I think it is one of the default widgets that come with WordPress.

Please try to disable all plugins leaving active only those that theme requires and the recent comments plugin and check to see if this issue is still present, this may be due to a plugin conflict.
If this dose not solve the issue, please send an URL with this issue so I can inspect it and hopefully I can give you a solution to this.
