Open Link in New Window not working

Hello,

The “Open Link in New Window” feature has suddenly stopped working for links to some pdf documents.
We did not install any new plugin.

If you mean the option from the MCE editor

I have tested this option and it is working normally for me. The link is opening in a different tab. When you add this property to the link, it should be visible when inspecting it

Thank you for your reply.
It used to work actually and we still have the target=”_Blank” in the code but when clicking on the link it opens in the same window (with Chrome, Firefox and Explorer)

Hi,

If the mentioned property is present in the link, then it should open as intended. My best answer would be that it is a browser problem, but since you tested already this is not the case it seems.
You could try to deactivate all your plugins except the ones provided with the theme, clear any caching installed and see if this has any effect.
