No content when printing

Hey guys,

I’ve been using your theme for a while now and yesterday a reader contacted me because he can’t print any article. It only throws him a blank page out so he is really unable to print or save the article.

I checked that in serveral browsers and yes – the page stays blank/only shows a grey block.
Can you help me out?

Hi,

The theme does not have any printing options or interfere in this process. You can use a plugin to optimize the result when printing pages
– http://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-add-a-printer-friendly-option-to-your-wordpress-posts/
And test in your browser by pressing CTRL+P to check the results.

thanks for your quick reply!
I am not sure about your answer, because when I try to print out one of your articles in the demo it works fine. I tried several plugins but with no success. They just dont solve the problem. May there is a bug in the theme or misconfiguration?

Often it’s an issue with how you built the page, or a conflicting plugin.

Check your post you’re unable to print by testing F12 in chrome for errors. Make sure you are not running any kind of plugin which does an “overlay” on the page for tracking, or similar. No bug in theme for printing normally, unless you’d added something to interfere with that.

You may need to try disabling any oddball ad networks, any plugins for compliance or copyright, etc., to see which one is causing problem after checking F12/chrome for errors in the page render.
