I just downloaded Newspaper theme. Like the ability to have a great looking site but don’t like the fact the tagDiv doesn’t let me get full access to all the elements, as in there is no dropdown available. I can see only a select few and then when I can edit a block, it only gives me limited options. I have activated the site too. It’s http://www.register-republic.com

Each block can be filtered with the options you are mentioning. In the Post Id filter you can enter Id’s of posts, if you want specific posts to be displayed in that element. You can filter by categories, tags, authors and also sort the posts that way it is necessary.
