For some time now I have been using the Newspaper theme, but with the implementation of TagDiv Composer some Visual Composer functions do not work properly, as for some reason it failed to recognize in the construction of the pages the specific “blocks” of the theme.
This “small” problem does not allow me to modify my pages in relation to the drawing, since due to lack of functionality in the construction and management of tables in TagDiv Composer, I can not migrate my page from Visual Composer.
The question is … Will any function be incorporated into TagDiv Composer to manage and create tables? Or, is there any way to visually map in Visual Composer again the theme blocks?
You still can move back to Newspaper 7, I had some similar problems
But I have already updated to version 8.
You don’t have to use TD Composer; you can keep using Visual Composer if you wish.
TDC is not a 1:1 replacement for VC. You would need to redo your layout for home page or custom page with TDC if you choose to use that instead.
Can’t you use normal HTML/CSS3/HTML5 tables?
You might be able to add CSS for the table classes you’re using.
(I don’t work here; just food for thought.)
Yes, I can use conventional tables. But it would not be simple since I need to update 300 tables weekly, so I use an add-on to VC, which is not compatible with TDC.
Probably best to keep using VC with NP8 then.
