So basically you are telling me the ads are not responsive like most themes but I have to create a different code for each ad in order to make it appear responsive. Will this work with an animated banner?
All my other 35 other themes display this same banner ad without me having to go through any of this? 🙂
The ad system supports multiple image sizes for mobile optimization, just like WordPress srcset.
You can put a simple ad unit in the sidebar widget as a text box, and if WP doesn’t scale in sidebar, just ad the normal CSS for responsive images (e.g., width:100%;max-width:300px;height:auto; ).
That’s what I do with locally hosted ads.
( I don’t work here; so feel free to ignore my input! )
Hello bformhals,
I have inspected your website and I saw that you are using the Google Adsense code for your Header Ad, as an example. Check the option from there to be disabled like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/w8mVFqs7 Notice that your Google AdSense should have to be responsive by default and if not, please const the AdSense department, tell the problem because they should be able to provide a more accurate response. Notice that the theme simply take the code and display it on the front end and the theme does not influence the ad functionality.
Thanks for your understanding!
