Hi,
Whenever I insert YouTube videos into the featured video field(with the video post format), the video becomes square sized first upon loading the post and then becomes the optimal size. Every single time.
Manual implementation is not optimal for me since that way the video isn’t in the desired field but under it. (post template style 11)
Is there a way to fix this?

Ensure that you are using the latest theme version and then, if you use some untested plugins, remove all of them and leave just only the required plugins and exclude the conflicting plugins. I have made some tests on my side and everything seems to work as expected.

Thanks for the reply! Yes, I know the theme itself works perfectly. :/ As I previewed the demo, it worked well. I don’t know what could be the problem. I’ve the latest version, switched to another theme and back to see if it solves it, switched between Newspaper demos, I’ve tried reinstalling the theme, disabled all plugins, emptied cache, disabled CDN, I tried visiting my site on different computers and still nothing. Square youtube video, which is resized to normal youtube size after like a second. I don’t know what else could I try. I’m sure it will be something so easy and trivial, but I have no idea what.
I gave up on that since I couldn’t solve it. I went on a completely different way, looks slightly worse now but works properly.

You need to use an appropriate lock to show wide thumbnails on your site, not square ones. you use a big grid full 3 on your site and have not stretched the row in order for it to show the thumbnails wider. Please either stretch the row: https://www.screencast.com/t/4J8R4zwoCam or use another element to show your vides.
