I’ve been re-building my site in a staging area since I lost a lot of customizations when I updated.
I need to create a full-width parallax effect behind the featured content on the home page here: http://hometownsevier.staging.wpengine.com/

Please notice that each customization will be lost to the next theme update, sorry! If you want to achieve the same layout which looks like this your example, you will have to use the ROW in full width and add such a background image or color, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/YoZqCdlx

The row will be stretched, you just have to set your parallax image if that is what you want to achieve, like this
