Version 8.1 on mobile view, (server is VPS, WHM on it)
Trying to reset password but login interface of theme says ‘Email address not found!’ by the way /wp-admin is working.
Desktop view of theme is working normally, I can reset password.
Hi,
Maybe the email address you are using is not valid. I believe the email that you have to enter has to be used in the user registration field

Hi, I’m using Newspaper 8.1 and one of my friend is using 8.0 version and we use different servers in different countries. We both cannot use theme interface for password recovery. But WordPress works without problem (web_address/wp-admin)
Yesterday my web theme interface worked but today it is not working. I cannot understand the problem. Language is Turkish.
User email is valid:

Right now web theme is working and password reset emails are sent. But for same email address mobile theme says “email address not found”
Don’t you have a ticket system? I’m waiting for a solution!
I’ve tried different mobile phones and different PCs, different internet connections. Sometimes password recovery works sometimes it doesn’t. Always trying for same email addresses that already registered.
Hi,
Please try to deactivate all your plugins except theme plugins and clear all caching. Then test to see if there is any difference. Check any custom code you might have used in the theme panel, or added to the theme files. If you use a child theme switch to the main theme. The check if this has any effect.
I don’t know how we could test this if sometimes it works and others not. You can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and we will take a look.
Maybe this is server related, you could try to contact your hosting and explain the situation. There might be a communication issue between the website and the database, or some form of filtering.
Thanks
Hi,
Thank you for you to take a time for me.
I did what you said. After deactivating plugins and clearing cache, resetting password worked normally. And I reactivate all of them and reset password said “email not found” and I decided to try one by one. First I deactivated only “Google Captcha Pro (reCAPTCHA) by BestWebSoft” and clear cache again, and reset password is worked smoothly. I’m using ‘invisible reCAPTCHA’ option in this plugin. I deselect the option of “Reset password form” in plugin settings and now theme menu works normally. I don’t know if the problem related to plugin or theme but I wrote both of you about this problem.
Have a good day.
Hello,
I have the same problem using 2 plugins for reCAPTCHA:
https://ro.wordpress.org/plugins/invisible-recaptcha/
https://ro.wordpress.org/plugins/google-captcha/
Any suggestion?
Hi,
In the previous issue it seems the fix was to deselect the mentioned option in the plugin, you could try that advice. Please note that these plugins are not tested with the theme, they might work or not.
Carefully configure the options, there might be settings in the plugins that cause the issues.
Thanks
