Hello, we have the Big Grid Slide at the top of our website. However, I would like to do something differently from how it currently works. Instead of having the entire panel of four stories moving, revealing the next panel of four stories, and so on, I would like to set it up so that the only slider section is the big panel on the left. The three stories stacked up on the right should remain static.
How can I do this?

Hi,
That cannot be done, or it would require considerable modifications to make. The Big grid slide is designed to function as it is now. It will slide the whole Big grid, not just a module form the grid.
You could maybe use a Slide on two columns instead and a block of your choosing in the remaining column, like this
