My comments are not working, I have tried deactivating all plugins and I have also double checked that the comment option is on everywhere. Even if comment via my word press posts, it doesn’t show.

Make sure
a) comments are ‘on’ in the WP admin panel settings under ‘discussion’
b) make sure comments option is ‘on’ in the theme panel under ‘post settings’
c) make sure the comments option is checked [x] yes in the section bottom of your post
Should work for all new posts you do moving forward. For older posts you ‘might’ have to go back and switch on the option by doing group edit from the posts edit screen; depending on how you’ve been handling comments in past.
If using an external comment plugin, that may be completely different problem.

Also, generally comments don’t work on ‘private’ posts … so obviously if we can’t see your post, the URL to your home page is no help here. 😉
Haha, Sorry. Was updating my website to 8.1 to see if comments start to work. It is live now.
And also now after updating if I allow comments for pages, they are working fine. Yet comments for posts are not working. Only those show that I myself do use the WordPress in the comment section of that post. And these also when viewed on the page has “comments are closed” written under them.

Okay, finally sorted it out :D. I just had options for older comments disabled. The comments that are more than 28 days old. Feel stupid now. messing around for 4 hours now.
