New Child Theme appeared from nowhere "ionMag??"

Hi,

I’m really spooked by this. Just had a new child theme appear on my backend.

I am using Newspaper v 8.0 and a child theme

Please can you tell me what this might be?

Hi,

This is unusual. Please check in the themes folder on your wordpress install, there should be only one Newspaper-child theme folder present

I do not see any ionMag reference in those screenshots, please correct me if I misunderstand.

HI Simon,

On the second link above, in the Yellow Box it states “There is a new version of IonMag Available…”

In my themes folder I have

backup
Newspaper
Newspaper-child

That’s it.

I cant remember what “backup” would have been.

Hi,

It seems I missed that reference. However the second child theme couldn’t of just appeared by itself. Please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login information and FTP access, so we can take a look.
Also paste a link to this topic in your email.
