What does the 0 mean? How do I disable it?

My site is fofnews.com. What do the little ‘0’s displayed on my posts mean? For example, on my latest post Fake Bittrex cryptocurrency exchange site stealing user funds, there is a 0 in a little comment-box-like element on the featured image. What does it mean? How do I hide it?

Hi,

That elements displays the number of comments that the post has, a comment count. It can be disabled in the theme panel for blocks and modules
