So when I have a block on the home page for a category and it is say Grid 4 or what have you, how can I have feature stories show up first before other articles? I have no featured category, and I see no option in a story to mark it as featured? Thanks
In the WordPress admin, in the left hand column under ‘Posts’ click the ‘Categories’ tab then create a new category called ‘featured’. Then select a post and in the right column you will see the new ‘featured’ category to add it too.
And this will put the feature story at the top and then place in order of Latest as that is what I have it set for?

Please notice that the Featured category is just a default category automatically created by WordPress when you can add your featured elements. After this, if you want to display only this elements, you can sort the theme’s blocks to display only the elements from this category. It’s not a sophisticated category…it’s just a simple one with this name -> ‘Featured’.

Thank you for your reply, but either I am not understanding or missing something. ON the home page I have the first block to randomly pick stories, and then I have nine blocks showcasing the nine categories. I am attempting two do two things.
On is the first block is set for the latest from every category, and the same for each of the nine blocks but specific to their category. What I would like is to show the featured before the latest of each of the blocks. Maybe not possible. Thanks
