License & local development

Hi,

I purchased Newspaper 8 theme, and I intend to develop the them in a local development environment on a clone of a WordPress multisite. Am I able to activate the license on the local copy of the website, and also on the live version of the site with the same activation code? I don’t want to activate it locally and then have to purchase another license, since I am producing just one production website with the license.

Hi,

You can use the same license for the testing environment, and for the live or final version of the website. There is no need for a second license in this case.

Hello @Eduardo-C,

You can use a license key for one single product, but the same purchase key can be used to activate your development copies and also the live version of your theme. Using test platforms is allowed with the same Envato key.
