I am trying to import some of the content from my old web to the new web with the installed Newspaper8.1 theme but I am having problems.
Could you give me a hand?
It is very important to be able to import content because they are about 3000 articles …
Would it be possible for you to log into my website and see if there is incompatibility with Newspaper8?

First of all, you should make a full backup to your database because this thing is very important and then, you should install the WP Duplicator Plugin and try to make the import. DUPLICATOR plugin is best way. I have used this twice now for couple of gigantic projects on changing and moving 10 year old sites to new domain name and fresh WP install.
Or, import content using PHPmyAdmin for your MySQL backup. But then you’d need to manually do any search/replace in your database for changes, such as different domain name, etc. (same process used when moving from http > https).
Note the ‘import’ function in the WordPress panel sometimes is hit/miss and not 100% reliable — you may need to temporarily increase your php settings (memory, time processes run, file size limit, etc.) to the maximum allowed by your hosting provider (but let them know what you are up to).
BUT, DUPLICATOR is a little tricky first time out — but it is the only ‘foolproof’ way I found to move sites and actually have everything work right.
