How Disable "Latest Articles" at the Bottom of the Homepage

I am currently using the “News” page as the homepage. Is there anyway to keep all the formatting on this page and simply get rid of the Latest Articles section? I’ve tried everything.

The same question would apply to the “Most Popular” and “Hot News” sections in the sidebar, too.

Hi,

The Latest articles section can be removed from the page, by selecting the default page template, in the page attributes settings

The sidebar would be removed as well by disabling the Latest articles, this section can have a sidebar set to it
