No posts showing on category page

I just installed Newspaper and am trying to configure the category page. The category title shows up, but there are no posts or anything else.

you can delete this post. i figured out the issue.

(it was a permalinks issue. changing the category base to “.” broke the category pages. plus, i had page with the same slug as the category; once i cleaned that up and used a plugin for the category base, it fixed my issue.)

you can delete or close for posterity.
