I have the Newspaper 8 Theme installed on my wordpress site urbanmaxx.com. I am very familiar with the Newspaper them, I used it for the past 2 years.
In the edition 8, the page view counter won’t disable. I’ve disabled the option in Jetpack and on the Newspaper theme but it still remains. The counter remains at “0”,despite the page receiving views.

There are no post views on pages. Just on posts. The comment count can be disabled from the theme panel-> block settings-> meta info
