Side bar is not showing

The side-bar is not showing in the posts and I have tried everything that I could think.

– Disabled all the plugins except the visual composer.
– Tried reversing all the things I did before it was working.
– Also tried to use chrome inspect to see the problem. I think it is just failing to load.

Need Help.

Yes, I think so.

As it was working fine few days back.

Hi,

The sidebar should be displayed if you have set it accordingly. Please note that if a sidebar is not set for each post manually

Then the post will try to display the sidebar from the primary category
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/primary-category/
If you have not set a primary category, the default on will be the first one alphabetically. If the post has only one category, this will be primary automatically.
This functionality allows for easier sidebar management. By setting a sidebar for the category, the posts will inherit that sidebar.
Please check in the Theme panel->Categories->Per category settings and see if the categories have sidebars set, and if those sidebars have actual widgets inside them.

– The sidebar has not been set manually for each post.
– There is only one category selected.

In the theme panel:
Categories -> category global settings
default sidebar is selected and the position is right.

Note that the sidebar is being displayed on pages:
– Disclaimer, about us, privacy policy, etc

but not on posts. It was displaying before though

Hi,

Check in the Per category settings, for the only category the post has. See if that category has a sidebar set, and if that sidebar has widgets inside it.

Okay, that sorted it out. Somehow, the sidebar widget was empty. Maybe some plugin removed it.
