Is it possible to set 2 static pages as URLs behind the homepage blocks

Hello,

I am building my website with the Newsmag theme on http://www.brabantbusinessmedia.nl/.
I want to use the 2 blocks on the homepage as static blocks that link out to static pages not posts. How can I do this?

Hello SanderW013,

Yes, please notice that you can display pages on your blocks. You do not necessarily have to display only articles, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/7jPDekB0EN.

Thanks. I just found it when I posted this thread. However, is it possible to select specific pages? If yes, how?

Is it also possible to remove the date and author for pages?

Yes, it’s possible but you should use page ID to target a certain page. Also, if you want to remove the date and author for pages, there’s an option for it in Theme panel, like that -> https://www.screencast.com/t/KyLdIzcdZp9r
