I have just launched a new site using the Newspaper theme and really happy with it. Im now looking to convert an existing magazing blog into a Newspaper theme. With some demos it overides all exisiting content. I want to be able to keep the existing articles. When I download a demo, does it keep existing content?

Hello TonyCurl,

Please notice that before each theme installing or demo, you should make a full backup to your database to avoid losing your data. In principle, when installing a demo, the old content is recognized by the theme. Also, you should install the demo without dummy content and then you will see all of your own content. Please do not forget the backup. It’s very important to be sure anytime.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for your understanding!

So when I stall the theme in my existing website, all of my content will be loaded automatically. For example, the content in old category will go to new category with the same name. Is that right?

Yep. See the wordpress.org codex on how themes work to better learn to use wordpress basic features.

Hello The InterPress,

Unfortunately, the provider of this whether source it seems that have changed their API implementation and our developers working hard for a solution in this case, sorry! Please keep in mind that in near time we will release a new update when you have an option in that widget to add the unique key for your account.
