I am at a loss (using 7.7 with provided VC plug-in)
All of a sudden I am no longer able to edit my page using VC Backend Editor. I can’t recall that I did anything to cause this (probably did, just don’t know what it might be). Only way I can edit page using Classic editor, but that is a pain.

I removed the theme with VC as well, and reinstalled it, but same results (I do reimport theme settings)

Hi,
I see that the Visual composer button is present as an option, in the page edit screen. Classic mode should look like this- https://www.screencast.com/t/OetQ94Y6oS13

If this is not how it works for you and there is a problem, try as a test to deactivate all plugins except theme plugins. Then check if this has any effect. Try using Visual composer backend editor on a new page.
Please let us know the result, and if there still is a problem. More details about what exactly is happening would be helpful as well.

It worked for all the months just as you described. I forgot to mention, I did do the plug-in test already as well to make sure it wasn’t a recent update that may have created the issue.
I did have a fully licensed version of VC on the site at one time, but removed it and reinstalled to the included version.

Please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com an provide admin login information so we can take a look. Maybe we can identify what is causing the issue. The version provided in the theme package that you are currently using, should work properly with the theme.

Seems to be fixed now. I did a full uninstall and reinstall and also uninstalled and then reinstalled WP Supercache. May have been an odd cache issue… Who knows. I hate when I can’t recreate a problem, but it is working now.
