Hi,

I believe you have added the menus the wrong way, the top menu looks like in your case it’s where the header menu should be and the header menu it’s at the top where the top menu should be.
Switch the menus between them, should look better afterwards, also note that if you wanted to have the menus like this the top menu doesn’t support the menu as it is now.

Regarding the size of your site, check your site using PageSpeed Insights and note how you can optimize your site.
