WP Ultimate Recipe & Newspaper Theme = not working :(

Hi there

I’m using WP Ultimate Recipe (https://www.wpultimaterecipe.com) with your Newspaper Theme.
My Problem: Your theme is using standard posts and is not able to read the ‘recipe’-posts from the WP ultimate recipe. Therefore your theme is not finding any post to display.

How can I change this? I cannot convert/change workflows for >1000 recipes now…

Hi,

The theme can display custom post type as well. If that plugin is creating a custom post type (probably recipe) that can be displayed in blocks by entering the post type name in the required field. All your custom post type are displayed in Theme panel->CPT

Thanks for your reply.
I’ve changed something in the CPT – now the Tags are shown once I directly go to an recipe.

But I dont see them in the Megamenu, nor when I click on a category 🙁

Or do I have to change something around the block settings? e.g. activate ‘recipe’ for specific blocks?

Hi,

The modules will only display category tags, taxonomies cannot be displayed on modules. There might be changes to the way the theme handles custom post types in future theme updates, but I cannot say for sure when this will happen.
