need a way to track clicks on ads

I’m not using adsense for my ads. I’m placing my own ads from my own affiliate clients. In the Newspaper theme, i do NOT see a way to track the number times ads were clicked. What solution do you offer for this issue?

Hello ascendo0875,

Unfortunately, our theme does not have any kind of option that allows you to track the number times ads were clicked, sorry! Please keep in mind that our theme only displays the ads on the front end and nothing special. If you want to implement an advertisement tracking you should try using such a plugin with this functionality and check how it will work with the theme.

Good to look at an ad manager plugins – we use AdRotate here for several years, but more complex solutions are not free; but plenty of choices. Good first step would be to check the WordPress.org plugin repository (‘repo’).
