How do I get featured videos to show on accelerated mobile pages (AMP)?

I recently installed the WordPress AMP plugin to improve mobile user experience. While the plugin works great, I did notice all of my “featured videos” are showing up as what I upload as the featured image. I’m sure this is by design but is there a way to fix this within the Newspaper theme? If not, any recommendations?

Hi,

There could be solutions online that you can try. AMP pages are not specific to the theme. The plugin adds a different functionality to the post page. I know that videos can be embedded in AMP posts, but I could not say how you could display a featured video
