Change the URL extension "#respond" to "#comments" of the comments icon

Information note: First of all, I have installed the plugin “De:comments”.

Hello.

Well, on the main page, I have the comments icon visible. If the user clicks on it, the extension “#respond” is added to the URL of the article in question. The problem is that this extension doesn’t work (I think as a result of the De:comments plugin).

However, if the URL extension is “#comments”, the browser accesses the comments section directly. So my question is: can I change the default extension “#respond” to “#comments”?

Thank you.

Hi,

You will have to make this modification to the WordPress files. Try it in this file

Thanks

Hello.

I’ve tried to prove what you say. But, unfortunately, it has not solved the problem: the “attachment” to the link is still #respond.

Any other solution?

Thank you very much.

I update:

The problem has been partially solved.

When I’m logged in as administrator in WordPress, the attached link is “#comments” and effectively, the page takes me directly to the comments section.

But if I’m not logged in, the link is still “#respond”. I deleted the cache and transients.

Maybe in a few hours the system will update or something like that and without logging in will appear #comments. In a few hours I’ll update and comment.

Last update:

The problem has been solved. Now the attached link is “#comments”, even if I am not logged in.

Thank you so much for solving my problem.
