VERY stupid question sorry – how do I actually publish the theme please?

Hi,
I previously had a coming soon plug-in activated and I’ve published my individual pages on the site and clicked publish in WordPress which previously published the site but I can’t seem to get it to publish it now though. I’ve customised the theme and installed etc but it’s still showing the coming soon theme.

If i de-activate the coming soon theme it then has the previous theme showing so I can’t seem to get to an obvious place where I can publish this one. Sorry it’s so basic!

Hi,

If the theme is activated in WordPress settings here

Then the website will be presented with the chosen theme, not a different theme. Deactivate the maintenance/coming soon mode and the website should be using Newspaper theme. Clear all caching installed as well, if you have any. The coming soon plugin should not affect the theme that is displayed on the website.
