Hi, I’m so frustrated. Members plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/members/) has messed up my subscriber capability setting which allows subscribers to edit posts.

I really want to set it back to the default ( subscriber can only read ).
I tried every method, including deleting the plugin, reinstall wordpress, etc and it’s not working. Could you point me to any php file or database file that I should look into?

Unfortunately if you messed with roles and capabilities, you will have to use that plugin again and restore the settings to their defaults. Please check with the plugin author and see if there is a defaults button or setting you can use. We cannot provide any insight into this issue as we have not tested this particular plugin.

Hi, I tried to use that plugin again and restore the settings to their defaults, but with no luck. Just wonder where are the role and capabilities info stored, I will go to the database files to twist it manually. Thanks again!
