Hi
I have created new custom post types on my site and want to find out how to move posts & comments from my “normal” posts to this new custom post type.
I don’t want to re-create the posts via copy/paste as I will lose the comments on those posts. Is there a way to “move” them in the backend.

Hello,
Sorry but there is no simple way of moving the comments from a post to a custom post type. There is no solution I can provide for this. You can hire a freelancer to help out with the implementation though.
