I can not edit blocks with Visual Composer (Home page). When I click I can’t open the edit window. It happens with the previous and the current version, released with the latest version of Newspaper (8.2). I’ve also disabled some plugins installed in recent months, but unfortunately the problem remains. You could help me please, thank’s
Have you considered using Tagdiv Composer instead? It’s so much better than the Visual Composer crapware.
I have that same issue since update to 8.2 and wp 4.9. Please can you help?

What browser are you using? Please test on a wp default theme also. We identified a few issues on Firefox with the latest version of VC but it also affects other themes.

I’ll do this. However, I’m trying to make a new homepage (as news page) with Tag Div Composer and I can’t to drag and drop the element on the page. I read the guide but I can’t drag it. Nothing is happening 🙂
Effectively ,visual composer works right on my installation with chrome, seems to be some kind of bug of this plugin version with firefox.

We are using Google Chrome to edit our pages.
This screenshot is when we try to edit with tagdiv composer. We get the sidebar and a blank white screen on the right;

This is what we get when trying to edit the homepage, after pressing “edit”

Effectively, we just can’t enter the edit screen. It loads a blank page.
Hopefully this issue can be addressed soon.

I have the same issue.
Normally working on firefox but couldnt see the preview of the page, tried Chrome with same results but weirdly it works on our old friend IE.
Have latest versions of WP

Please keep in mind the Visual Composer should works as expected with the latest version of the theme because it was fully tested without any wrong results. Try to make a new clean install from scratch via FTP way, remove all of the untested plugins, clear all the caches and check the results. If the problem is still there, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can further inspect it closer your setup page. provide there the link to this topic so we can quickly identify you.

Where do I find the file to install – I dont see the VC file in the theme download

I’m sorry, but VC and TAG Div Composer does’t work. I cleaned the cache (browser chrome, Super Cache plugin and purge files CDN Cloud Flare) and made a new install of both plugin. I sent you via email two videos and the Login details. I hope solve this. Lets me know please. Thank’s
To find the VC/WPBakery installer – you need to look in the ‘all files’ download, not the single theme download from your ThemeForest account 🙂
I SOLVE, for me the conflict is “AMP for WP” plugin. I already report this issue to author plugin. I disabled it and VC work. (Thanks Alin).
The problem now is Tag Div Composer. Doesen’t work (in my theme) also with all plugin disabled (eccept VC and Td composer)
I had the same issues with WPBakery plugin, deactivating AMP for WP plugin seems to work for me as well. Thank you.

Notice that is not recommended to be used in simultaneously mode.
