I have the social counter plugin enabled for twitter and facebook.
For Twitter it works correct. For facebook, although if you press the button it links to the correct facebook page, it doesn’t count the followers.
I have followed all the steps regarding the facebook app id/secret etc.

I have the exact same problem. I have verified that I have the correct info: Facebook id, Facebook App Id, Facebook Security Key, and Facebook Access Token.
What could be the issue here?
PS! The site in question is https://www.whiskysaga.com/. I changed to using the Newspaper theme a few days ago.
PPS! Twitter, Instagram and Google+ work with no issues.

Make sure that you are using the latest theme version installed via FTP way, clear all the caches and check the results. Also, I saw that you are using some untested plugins which can interact with the theme core files and causes a lot of unknown issues. Try to disable all of them, leave just to active only the plugins that come bundled with the theme core files, clear all the caches and check the results.
