How come there is not an option for a LinkedIn in [tagdiv] Social Counter? Can it be added?

Hi,
Unfortunately there is no setting to add more socials in the counter, at the moment. More socials will be added in future theme updates. You could maybe try other solutions, like social plugins that would give the option to add a LinkedIn button. You could try something like this maybe
