Unfortunately the theme back-end is not translatable.
The sticky menu color will always be the same one as the static menu color. It can be changed from here: https://www.screencast.com/t/a296MTLn

I would like to change the color of the sticky menu and insert other elements when we have the sticky menu active. Surely there is a way, via javascript and css, right?

Yes there is via custom code modifications, but the theme does not provide such settings. You will have to do it yourself if you have the know-how or hire a freelancer to help out with the code. Sorry but we cannot offer any customization services for the moment.
