Is it possible to add html code for theme background?

We need to control the background ad via DFP, so practically we want to add a piece of code that controls what is shown as Background and where does the link sends the user that clicks on it.

Hi,

The theme requires a background image or color, then a single link entered in the background ad section of the theme panel

This is how the theme background ad implementation is made. Given these options I don’t believe such a functionality can be achieved with the theme options.
Maybe you can find a plugin that can offer this, and implement the background ad without using the theme settings. The Adrotate plugin is constantly mentioned in the forum, this might have what you need, you could give it a try.
