how to remove "Author-information" and "discussions" from the frontend ?

1) how to remove author element ?
underneath a blog-article, there are the social icons, then there is the “previous / next articles”, then there is a block which shows the Username of the author. Hovering over this element. it shows a lonk towards “domain.com/author/username

Since this link is showing the “Username” of my Admin-interface (Admin-Username), I do not want to show this element to the public.

I have already unchecked the “Author” at a single Blog-post (Post page and from Screen Options/top-right corner), but unfortunately it still keeps showing this element at the public website.

2)
I am having the same issue for “comments / discussion”.
I have disabled “discussions” and “trackbacks” globally at “Settings / discussion”, but it still shows the “comment form” at the bottom of each Blog-post.

How to disable this “Comment Form” for all Blog-posts ?

Hi,

1. That is the author box, it can be disabled in the post settings

It will not be displayed anymore if you disable it from the theme panel. The information it shows is from the WordPress user profile.

2. The comments can be disabled in the same post settings, in the theme panel
