Hello,
when I open my blog articles with Safari (old Mac, old Macbook Air, old iPad – all at least 5 years old) there is this weird looking text display in vertical form.

Is this due to the “old” Safari Version, because on my iPhone or my new macbook I cann’t find this bug.

Unfortunately, notice that you should update the version of Safari browser, clear all the caches and check the result. Notice that our theme is fully tested with the browser and should work as expected.
