Adding Google Analytics

I have my site verified with google and Google Webmaster works great. But I seem unable to find the right place to add in the code for Google Analytics.

There is a gtag.js code I am supposed to add “as the first item into the <HEAD> of every webpage you want to track.”

I tried adding it to the Google Analytics in the theme panel but that did not work.

Is there another place I should be adding this code?

Nevermind that did, in fact work. I guess it just took awhile for Google to update things on their side.

Hello, this isn’t working for me, i pasted the gtag.js in the Analytics section of the theme panel, but i still have 0 on my google analytics since.

Hello,

Please contact google and ask about why this happens. If you implemented the code properly, it should work fine.
You simply paste the analytics code in the theme panel analytics section. Maybe it takes a while as mentioned above by thetroglodyte
