How to hide the "Post Setting" option for the author in NewsPaper Theme?

Can anyone tell me that, how to hide the “Post Setting” option for the author or other user roles in the newspaper theme?

Hi,

The theme uses default WordPress roles and capabilities
– https://codex.wordpress.org/Roles_and_Capabilities
So an author role will and should have access to the post settings in the post page. The theme panel is limited to admin role, but the actual post settings when creating a post will be available.
There are no options in the theme to limit the user capabilities, there could be user role plugins that could be used to modify default permissions.

Thanks. The “Post Setting” option is not showing to the “Contributor” user role.

Hi,

The contributor cannot publish posts and does not have access to post settings like authors. Contributors can write posts and submit them for review, that would be all the capabilities of this role.

Hello,
I have a problem, i have status author and i don’t have Post Settings on the post new article. Is this maybe a bug or are there settings to change this?

Maybe they are disabled in the screen options for you

Or maybe a plugin has been used to customize the default roles. Check that as well.
