Some of the socials will be automatically hidden when there is not enough available space to display them all

This happens by default, it cannot be disabled. If there are problems with the new sharing please clear all caches after the update, purge CDN files if used. Clear browser cache as well.

It’s not true about space, because you have the “+” button whit only 3 social icon.. those only take the half od space. can’t we add more space ? A margin ?

That is happening because the WhatsApp is displayed only on mobile, but it is loaded among the socials. A solution would be to drag the WhatsApp social to be last in line

I dont really understand why you are speaking about purge firefox, etc. My problem is since the update to 8.6, I do not want a “+” button but just have social button displayed.

Cleared CDN, several times. Getting very inconsistent results. Sometimes it works, sometimes I just get the +
When it’s just the +, clicking it shows the buttons, but then clicking the – doesn’t actually fold them back in, it just removed the – icon.
Firefox only, Chrome and Edge seem to work just fine.
Not completely sure if this hardcode will throw other errors but if you locate newspaper/includes/wp_booster/td_social_sharing.php and comment out lines 75 – 82 this appears to effectively disable the social icons being hidden behind the + sign on firefox. I’ve been testing but it appears to have worked for now. If you use a child theme you can place this change there. or re-implement the hardcode each time you update the theme.

The socials are not functioning properly, they are not responsive anymore.
@All with social problems, please make a full back-up of the website and send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com (provide admin login information) We will try to identify what the problem is. We may need to deactivate plugins as well.

We never had any problems with the update of Newspaper. We need our plugins. The error was from an ads partner and is fixed. Other people have also the problem with Firefox.

We have tested this implementation before releasing the update, we fixed all the issues that were found. As I said in almost all cases problems related to the socials were caused by caches or conflicts with plugins. We have not found other problems with it.

That + should appear only when there are too many icons to be displayed in a single row, or there is not screen space to display them all This will also be depending on style chosen in the theme panel, if a style with text is selected there would be this result

If you select mobile sharing socials drag and place them last in the list, they will not show on desktop only on mobile.
