Special charachters can not be used for the name of sidebars

Hi,

The special character (such as “-” or “_”) can not be used for the name of sidebars after updating the Newspaper theme to the latest version (v 8.6).

Is it a bug?

Hello sebahattin.demir,

Unfortunately, the theme does not allow to be used that special characters because will affect the sidebar widgets and for security reasons, these symbols will be excluded.
