Sorry for the delay! I have checked this and found no issue using the latest theme version 4.3 and the latest VC Version 4.3.4, the VC row can be added like this: http://screencast.com/t/VjkXgyc7D
Should work fine, please make sure you have installed the plugin correctly, use this guide for this: https://forum.tagdiv.com/update-the-visual-composer-plugin-wpbakery/
